2017/18 Season

THE SEASON OF FATE

The Season of Fate features three of Shakespeare’s most liked plays – Julius Caesar, King Lear, and Much Ado About Nothing. Fate is a theme found in many of The Bard’s productions and takes on different symbols throughout the cannon. Arguably, Shakespeare was the first to use stars as a symbol or other way to refer to fate. Tragedy marks the fate of the characters in this season’s productions, whether in love of country or love for another, the stars seem to be inevitably crossed.
