Season 14: Screw your courage to the sticking place...
Season 14 is built on pure 'Will' and an understanding that challenges are the universe's way of setting the course. Without a doubt this season is one of incredible growth for Calgary's classical theatre company. With courage and passion we will bring Calgarians our finest season to date with two of the cannon's most challenging and engaging plays.
LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST: 'Pun'tastically funny and full of sexy silliness. The King of Navarre and his school mates swear off women just in time for the Princess and her lovely ladies to pay a surprise visit! Featuring plenty of new talent as well as TSC ensemble favourites, this play will tickle the delights of Calgarians at the Arrata Opera Centre before setting out to tour Alberta and British Columbia during the summer months.
MACBETH: Just in time for Halloween, we awake from our dreams of summer love and sink into a murderous, haunting, nightmare filled with witchcraft and madness. Shakespeare's "cursed" play tells the tale of one couple's rise to greatness, steeped in blood, and the descent into madness that comes as the ultimate price.
Join us in celebrating 14 years of passion, courage and exploring the remarkable insights into what it means to be a human being found in Shakespeare's plays.
